Short-term effects are noticeable approximately 30 to 60 minutes after ingestion. Long-term effects take 1 to 3 weeks to start working.

In chronically stressed dogs it can even take 8 weeks (taking into account the amount of new stress that can arise during that period) before real improvement is visible.
